how can you stop Grandma from gambling?

83 year old Grandmother lives to gamble Not only her either. Her Friends wait for their social security checks so they can drive or hop a bus that for a fee will drive them to the river boat/casinos that have the slots that await their arrival. These seniors are doing without the real things they need in life like paying their bills and buying their food and medicines for a small chance they will walk away as a Winner. What is a family to do with grandma who depends on her adult children to fund her need to play bingo,cards and the river boat??

83 years old, man! Cut grandma some slack!

I’ll bet she’s worked very hard for her whole life. She’s probably saved and scrimped most of her life to give your mother/(father) all they ever needed. The only reason you’re where you’re at right now is because of grandma’s hard work. You just weren’t around to see it.

Now you DO make an important point. If she is using her money that is supposed to go to medicine and bills, then that’s a bit of a problem. As with any gambler, if your family is paying her bills and paying for her medicine, then you are ENABLING her to continue doing what she’s doing.

You all just need to make a choice. Is it really worth it to “cut grandma off” and not give her any more food money? If you think that will make things better, then go for it. I couldn’t do it myself, but everyone’s situation is different.

Visiting El Paso next month ~ Where there is a good casino near?

If electronic bingo charities a slap in the face for bingo legit?
