Why Is Bingo So Popular With Women?

I don’t have exact figures but from what i’ve heard it’s somewhere between 70% – 85% of Bingo is played by females.I went for a job interview at an online bingo company and they said all the graphics and marketing was aimed at women only.

It doesn’t really make much sense to me, what is it about this specific game that appeals to women so much and why do men have such little interest in it?

I think it’s newfound popularity is from the online versions of the game. This means it must be the actual game itself that is popular and not the fact that there are no men there.

I have to agree, I went once with a friends mother and it was mostly women there. I won the jackpot that night but have never gone back as I think I’m way too young to take up bingo,lol.
Men seem to be more interested in sports betting, casino’s horse racing, etc.
Maybe they feel uncomfortable in a room so full of women? Then again would be a great way for the older gentleman to meet some ladies, haha.
